A digital elevation model turns millions of individual laser returns into a continuous, measurable surface. It is the layer almost every other analysis sits on top of — cut and fill volumes, drainage paths, flood extents, access gradients, solar yield.

How we build it

We capture the site with the platform that suits the terrain: UAV for open ground and large areas, walk-through scanning where vegetation or structures break line of sight. Every job is tied to a control network so the result is georeferenced, not just internally consistent.

Ground points are then separated from vegetation and built structures. That classification step is where most of the value sits, and it is the step cheapest providers skip — an unclassified surface drapes over tree canopy and quietly overstates your terrain by several metres.

What you can do with it

  • Calculate earthworks cut and fill before mobilising plant
  • Model surface water flow and identify ponding risk
  • Check as-built levels against design, to the centimetre
  • Generate long and cross sections anywhere on site, after the fact, without returning to the field

Have a site that needs measuring?

Tell us what you need to know about it. We will tell you which capture method fits, what it will produce, and what it will cost — before anyone mobilises.
